Define "hobby". One man's hobby is another man's government project! ;)

Hobby meaning that somebody is building it on their own budget, not that of some big organization or employer. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Check out the yahoo computer group "Megabitty", that is it for the little ones in a "hobby" category. They are currently building a bunch of nano-sumo bots for sumo competition, these are 1 cubic inch max in size.

probably has the biggest "hobby" robot, right now he seems to be redoing his site though. He has a three wheel robot that uses an automobile rear end and wheels and tires with dual golf cart motors.

---------------------- A mechanism with the ability to sense, decide, and act, all without the presence of a human operator.

Includes snares, mousetraps, alarm clocks, and washing machines, and etc., if they can self-fill and stop filling when full enough.
