OkJust got a sniff of what the big red guy has his sled for me. a PML Mni-BBXthat will be my used in my certification launch. I already have one, but heywhy not another?So here is the question....I want to use rail buttons this time and given PMLs plastic airframe andpiston system, who has ideas on how tho properly mount the buttons> Ichecked the FAQ at and am still a little hazy on what needsto be done. So far I have three ideas:1. Cut the screw down and epoxy the bejezzus out of it.2. use an extra disk on the airframe side and once again make with theepoxy.3. Soak a piece of balsa so it curves to match the tube diameter, trim it tobe attractive, soak it with CA, and use it as a spacer.Any success stories are welcome...My personal best to all for a happy and healthy holiday season.Thanx,Al

Or jam some wadding in the rail at the base.

An angled blast deflector will prevent rocket exhaust from flashing up the rail channel and toasting your railbutton.

A rocket stop which uses the grove will also prevent exhaust from getting up to the button.
