ROL NEWS--Blacksky Releases ProPad 2.0

Blacksky Releases ProPad 2.0 March 24, 2006 Web posted at: 7:19 PM EST

(ROL Newswire) -- The blacksky Corporation (Carlsbad, CA) has a new medium launcher, the ProPad 2.0 suitable for rockets weighing up to 100 pounds. The ProPad 2.0 comes with 8² of the industry standard blacksky High Power Rail and an all metal base. The base of the ProPad 2.0 has a

4 foot radius for stability with three leveling adjustments. The rail pivots 4 feet above the ground to make it easy to load a rocket horizontally. A 12 gauge welded stainless steel blast deflector assembly protects your launcher from motors through M class.

One nice feature of the ProPad 2.0 is the optional Electric Elevation Control. Without the elevation control, the Rail is elevated at 5 degree positive locking increments from vertical (0 degrees) to 30 degrees. The optional Electric Elevation Control of the ProPad 2.0 uses an electric drive to elevate the launcher from horizontal to your preferred launch angle to add realism and drama.

The ProPad 2.0 folds to a compact 4 foot long x 12 x 12 inch package that weighs 38 pounds for easy transport. The Rail is in a 6 foot and 3 foot length. Go to
