(ROL Newswire) -- G-Wiz is pleased to announce their MC 2.0 Flight Computer is shipping. According to G-Wiz, MC 2.0 is loaded with many new features:

  • 4 high current pyro channels, * Programmable inertia-based staging supports numerous stages, * Programmable low altitude event up to 2550 feet in 10 foot increments, * Programmable 4th pyro channel, * Sensors are sampled and recorded at 40 samples/second by a 12-bit ADC, * Builtin NASA atmospheric tables for altitude measurement to 70K feet MSL, * Available standard with a +/-50 G or optionally a +/-100 G accelerometer, * 13+ minutes of nonvolatile, multi-flight recording memory, * Configurable units: feet or meters * Data download and configuration via G-Wiz USB module, * Java-based download and configuration software, FlightView, runs under Windows 2000/XP, Mac OS/X, Linux, and Solaris.
