Help naming kit (armor,US self propelled) I built in my younger days

Was wondering if anyone, especially armor specialists could help my remember a small armor kit I built when I was younger, probably late

70's.

It was small, about 6 inches long including muzzle, 3 inches wide. It was an open top self propelled, probable antitank . 3-4 man crew. Silver treads, can't remember if rigid or stretchy, definitely not Tamiya "rubber band" style, better detalied. Simple armored windscreen with 2 small windows for 2 front seats, looked like driver, gunner sitting athwart, loader in back, gun between driver and gunner, prjects through windscreen to slightly in front of nose of vehicle. No turret, gun in same compartment as crew, single deck Probable engine in front. Definitely not a recoilless rifle, had standard gun style breech block and gun style elevation mechanism. Simple beercan style muzzle brake. US star decals on side. Can't remember if it had a secondary MG don't think so. Olive drab plastic with small clear piece for the windscreen windows. If the crew was scaled about right, the vehicle would have been around 8' or so in length, without the gun overhang.

Have no idea mfg, scale, etc. Associate it with Battle of the Bulge for some reason, seem to remember a small unit of them defended a crucial road crossing with direct fire (57mm rings a bell too) before being wiped out by heavy German armor. May be way off on that though, could have been just a towed unit, not tracked.

Anyone remember a similar item, or have a site reference for US light SP AT types? Definitely not Hellcat or M10.or M36, definitely not a half track either, all tread no wheels. Thanks for any help, sorry for the vagueness.
