Fantastic stuff for masking soft-edge camouflages in 1/72! Possibly too in 1/48, little experience.

Knead it until is slightly warm, it then is easier to process and slightly more tacky. Roll thin strings from it (use a flat object like a CD box), lay it down on the model in the desired camo pattern, fill in the areas to be masked with Maskol or another latex masking agent, let it dry, and spray away! I always remove it immediately, because I am curious. It also allows minor repairs, because the paint is still soft.

Rather than filling in the area masked with another masking agent I cover the area with a piece of aluminum foil torn to the right shape and stuck to the border of blu-tack.
