Well, there's a thing! I didn't know that Frog and Revell made Rotodynes as well!

I'm with Enzo, I'd never heard or seen that Revell and Frog released them. Were they 1/72nd? Knowing Revell from that era I suspect box scale? Or was it a repop of Frog's kit? Interesting=85

The Revell one was one of their more ambious efforts, as it had the left side of the fuselage pop of and a complete interior. The kit is listed as H-185 and in 1/78 scale with a release date of 1961. (Gee, I love the Schiffer model company histories!)

I think there are some re-pops out there but couldn't find the info.

I've seen a model exhibit which matches that description but assumed it was a one off for demonstration purposes. The picture was in an old Aeromodeller Annual. It had certainly disappeared from the UK catalogue by the late

1960's.

One of my local friends provided many of the Revell models pictured in the Revell book. I think he lacks the nucear reactor model but most of the obscure items reside in his collection.
