anyone have pre-cut sheets for a mettel vacu former? i looked at ebay and the sellers all want excessive shipping. typically, $8 for 2-3 sheets. i'd rather give someonone here a fair price.

Anything you bought was a part of commerce. Go into any store and you will find products that have been packaged in vacuformed plastic. Some have large flat areas that can be reused.
The problem is, punching all the holes in register is not the easiest thing to do. That is why the stuff cut and punched specially for the Mattel machine is so valuable.
