Benchmark

I have been running the benchmark on our machines as we turn them around (change air in your tires?) and lately it's been stopping with some issues. One is that it says parts have changed and do I want to save them - this happens on the wheel every time. I have also seen a rebuild error with a suspension part. Once in a while the drawing says it can't create a view because it already exists.

Any thoughts here? These are happening on a clean machine on which I just loaded SW2004 and then SW2003 and are happening even when running the test with 2003. Are there some settings that it's not changing to suit??? Seems like in the past, this test would run just fine unattended.

I've fought this before and won. You have to stop the benchmark (kill it in the process list).

Then go into the benchmark files folder and open each assy, checking for errors. Save each assy, whether there are errors or not. Then open up the specific files that the bench choked on, namely wheel and the drawing. Save those. There were a couple , which at the moment escapes me, where I had to actually edit sketched to get it to rebuild correctly. There seem to be some compatibility issues between 2003 files being opened in 2004 (at least for me). If you're running 2003 then we know the problem is within the files themselves and not SWX compatibility.
