This bumbling fool has got to go:
A very aggressive sales campaign like this would dramatically help PTC begin to make a bigger impact versus Solidworks, etc.

I totally agree, so could "you" please go away!?

I'm a bit new to comp.cad.solidworks, so I'm a bit confused. What does this have to do with SW?
Also, I would like to hear from Jon Banquer about what it is that makes him such an expert. He has a lot to say, but does not seem to have any real understanding.

Xnews. My "jon" problem has totally cleared up since I installed it. It's free and you can get it at download.com

Going back to Florida to see the wife & kids? Watch out for the police ....
Absolutely nothing. He cannot even use it or ANY 3D system AFAIK. For ANY purpose. He actually flunked "basic shop math" long before they even got to simple trig IIRC.
He steals & copies press releases to post.
Not a bit. Limited to buzzwords he does not understand with secret meanings he made up himself. But he's got a spelling checker (probably a "free demo") .
He lies a lot and loves doing it. NEVER trust anything he posts.
I don't believe this 'jon' is a real person. I think it is a computer generated character using cut and paste from random samples of web pages.....a novel idea but no practical use. : )
oh leave the poor chaps alone
personally i think they are both quite funny(obviously in a perculiar english kind of way)
after all if the forum was just full of serious posts i wouldnt have anything to laugh at i think sometimes they try and draw a response from people which is quite amusing as its very rare that the serious guys in here rise to the baiting just for humour value and the irony in what they write has left me giggling
He's a troll who has been around for a long time.
TBS re-ran the Wizard of Oz last Sunday night. There is a line early on when Dorothy first encountered the scarecrow. She asks him "How can you talk if you don't have a brain?" His reply reminds me of JB a lot.

Is it possible to block responses to a plonked user?

Using the Score you can "kill from here down" on a thread, (in article menu, add to score file)
Oi! take that back.
Interesting. I never explored the score tools before. I may have to spend some time with those some year. However, the immediate application is obvious. Thanks.

I think you could do something with the score file, but I'm not sure. If you figure it out, please pass the tip on.

Hear Hear - it even tickles my Welsh sense of humour - although I wouldn't want to encourage them!
Quite true. I only wish they (CH and JB) would embarrass themselves in fewer posts per week. Then I would have the time to enjoy it.
