in the last implementation of SW 2005, which i had running on a Pentium 4, there were a bunch of commands on the left, arranged in a menu.
since moving to a Core2Duo, i have my Solidworks installed, but some of those old familiar menus are G O N E, gone.
the menu i'm looking for was a vertical column with a bunch of feature/command icons, including the scale icon.
can someone tell me how to get that one back ?

It's the CommandManager ....Same as You did before, right click and I believe the CommandManager is the most upper one.

that helped, thanks, i got some of my toolbars back.
Don't forget to run through the copy settings wizard so you have these settings if you need to revamp your system again...although you may already do that.
