OT: "Alternative Energy" Radio Show Recording

This is for all of you inventors out there interested in alternative, over-unity, free or zero-point types of energy creation...

The first part of the show deals with the NASA spacecraft Galileo and how NASA plans to hurl it into Jupiter this Sunday. The guest speculates that the nuclear fuel on board will ignite the planet forming a second sun, heh funny.

But after that there is a new guest that talks for a few hours about Tesla and other inventors creating free energy that has been suppressed by "Big Oil".

I thought it was interesting enough to post.

Enjoy! Mike Wilson

Jupiter is 17 times too light to ignite. So, as Arthur C. Clarke's described in "2010 :Odyssey two", all we have to do is to drop a bunch of monoliths on it... Tesla is often quoted as having proposed a system for producing "free energy". He definitely knew enough about the subject to refrain doing so

fact Tesla partnered with Westinghouse to develop AC power production and transportation against Edison who promoted DC current . Pushing this forward, Tesla discovered that microwaves could be used to transport energy, and suggested that one day, energy could be transmitted by microwaves rather than power lines. He never suggested that the energy would come from "free", but he certainly overlooked the fact that his system would also offer all the advantages of a world wide microwave oven...

in Geneva's inventors show last year, a guy proposed a "free energy" system that is (imho) worth considering: build a train on a large circular track (say 1000 kilometers in diameter). The train must occupy the whole track length (i.e. be 3141,6 kilometers long...). Coriolis would make it roll in circles just like Isabel and other storms. Never had enough time to do the numbers to check... Oh! just had an idea : I'll do it with Cosmos Works! stay tuned...

No way! That's pretty wild. Cool Tesla link :^)

It would not.

And he's quite confused about the "Coriolis force" as well, which relates to angular momentum.

Isbel & Co. doesn't take it's energy from coriolis force, but instead from water vapour condensing to water droplets. The energy from condensing water vapour makes air to rise, which creates inward flow near the ground in the storm. The rotation is caused by conservation of angular momentum. Coriolis effect determines only whether the storm should rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise.

Hello all...

I haven't read the links posted by Mike yet, but there is a way to create energy that is almost "free".

It involves the use of gyroscopes coupled to a generator, and stealing energy from the rotation of the earth using precession.

Unfortunately the earth would slow down, and days and nights would become longer.

To this day I wonder why we aren't all driving around with tanks full of

100% ethanol. It will work just fine in your modern fuel injected car.
