I used Mastercam to design with for many years. It got me by, but it's not the best solution.

Dave,

Cliff's referring to U.G., he's always referring to U.G. He thinks that it's the solution to everyones CAD/CAM needs regardless of qualifying criteria. I think he must own stock in the company.

It's a very good comprehensive CAD/CAM system, but seems to be used mostly by large aerospace, and automotive companies. In my 25 years in automation, and medical, I think I've had to work with two or three native U.G. files.
