---------------------------------------------- From "Greenberg's Price Guide to N Scale Trains" (1981) by Dallas J. Mallerich III:

"Jamco Models (Ready-to-run)

"These brass models are constructed of etched, cast and formed brass parts. The Santa Fe unit appears to be of all-original construction. Approximately six hundred Pacifics were produced. The Milwaukee Road unit was not put into production. Pre-production samples were constructed on earlt Con-Cor Hudson mechanisms. Unconfirmed reports list the number of pre-production samples as six (6). Reportedly, each of the three gentlemen involved in the venture had two samples. The author knows of the wherabouts of two such units and would like to learn if any of the others are in collectors' hands.

"AT&SF Class 3400 Pacific (4-6-2) 1968. $250 (Good), $300.00 (V.G.), $400.00 (Exc.) Milwaukee Road F-7 Hudson (4-6-4) 1970. No Reported Sales"

These were not mentioned in the 1985 Supplement.

Hope this helps.

Opps! "earlt" should have been "early".

" *** pre-production samples were constructed on early Con-Cor Hudson mechanisms.*** "

It is a model of an ATSF 3400 class Paciific that was imported in the early '70s. The boiler shell is cast brass and the second set of drivers and center wheelset of the tender are blind. Not a particularly good runner... Ebayed mine for ~$200 3yrs ago.
