Re: Wanted: Tyco Track Expander Book

=>Hi Guys I am looking for a copy as my 7 Year old Nephew Has this set and =>want's uncle to build it for him for his birthday in a few weeks, For trains =>Have 2 Proto 100 F3 And an assortment of tyco and proto 1000 cars all =>working well.

Well, I doubt it'll do you much good, as Tyco is no longer in the model train business. If you already have the trackplan, just adapt it to Atlas, or similar track. IIRC, Tyco track was just regular Code 100 sectional track, and I expect Atlas will be exact match (except for part numbers.)

I think he wants the plans, not the actual Tyco track.

Try looking around

Ah, in that case, you may want to stop by the Atlas website and pick up their program for designing layouts! The first assumption a lot of us had was that you wanted the book for itself as a collector or some such. Since all you want is the info, the Atlas program can provide the limitations of the Atlas track system while you doodle as to where you want things to go. The Georgetown and Grand Fork railroad, for a name, is anything that you really want it to be and not just a circle of track with a siding on the front and a spur into the center from the back.
