I am not looking for a particular manufacturer- rather the sort of record that would be Bloggs engine manufacturers was represented in southern africa by the company "peabody ,sons ,uncles and cousins limited "
I am currently looking for old engines on farms -in particular an engine that was commisioned around 1925 in the eastern transvaal. i use to know the engineer ( now deceased) who commisioned it at about that time . It occured to me that employees of the importers would perhaps remember locations.(the engine mentioned was probably a National engine and was imported by Messrs Malcomess limited.)
