Bought my lot about a month ago from Howes models. It's called "Fluid Lead", not in the model rail dept, but in the R/c models dept for ballast.
It is marketed by RipMax for Boats and Aircraft, so I would expect the bigger model shops to stock it.

Eileen's Emporium sell it -
Website under construction in 1999, and trying the url reveals it is still 'under construction'.
Should be impressive when itt appears! Keith
Just look for a house with roofing work in progress. Can pick up a ton of the stuff for free. Already cut into flat strips for your convenience. Was chatting to a builder recently asking about any scrap he had - went off to his van, came back with an offcut roll of 2 foot length 6 inches wide. Should last me a few years, pity really I enjoyed finding scrap.

Er, yes. I was really pointing out the email address and phone numbers. I've long given up even associating Eileen's with a website. I don't know what they're like at answering emails though - I've never tried.
On that subject, I was talking to a trader at the Thornbury show, asking about custom nameplates. When I mentioned that I did send an email, but had no reply, I was told "Oh, we don't have time to check emails." I managed to resist the temptation to ask why they publicise an email address then - perhaps I should have done. No names, but the company name gives the impression of working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which may well be correct!
"When"???
Last time I tried - very good.

Excellent! I just re-read my post, and it sounds like I could be knocking Eileen's. Not at all - service I've had from them is very good, and I could spend a fortune at shows with them. It's just that I've never had the need to email them!
Or ask any shotgun shooting friends for the shot from a few cartridges, BTDT.
Not model-related, but a large international company I deal with doesn't believe in websites - they've only recently got e-mail, with one inbox for the whole, multi-national, company. I recently needed a catalogue from them. The information isn't available online, as they don't believe in that sort of thing - but they happily posted me a CD with a complete set of "web"pages burnt on it!
Even Railway Modeller had to give eventually.
