macclesfield exhibition

I am going over to Macclesfield exhibition this weekend, Is it a good show ?

of the Layouts is in HOM gauge i havent heard of that gauge before so can any one enlighten me on it ?

I went last year and enjoyed it, so if they can maintain that standard then it should be pretty good. It's a nice venue - it's a fairly typical school hall exhibition, but there's plenty of space and natural light so it's a pleasant environment which doesn't feel crowded even when full.

HOm, to give it the correct capitalisation, is metre-gauge prototypes modelled in 3.5mm (HO) scale using 12mm gauge track (the same track width as TT gauge). Typically, that would be Swiss prototypes - metre-gauge is very common in the Alps and Jura mountains.
