Good Info on copper-nickel welding

Over the last forty or so years, copper-nickel alloys have gained usage in the marine industry for their excellent corrosion and anti-fouling properties. Here is an excellent article on welding and brazing/soldering these alloys: http://64.90.169.191/applications/cuni/txt_joining_CN_alloys.html-Jitney

Good Afternoon group

I was so bored this morning I actually took the time too gather about 40 pages of info from the copper site and converted it to PDF format. If anyone would like a copy I can post it here or send directly to their email, the file is about 275 Kb so even those on dial-up should have no problem getting it.

Which btw..is a marvelous resource thats provided free for one and all. Lots of projects, welding, machining and whatnot. I often browse though the various photos and plans just to see how others have accomplished various things

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."
