Harbor Freight Saw on Sale

I can't vouch for the quality, but I'm going to take a chance. Harbor Freight just sent out an ad which includes a 7 1/4" circular metal saw, marked down from $99.99 to $69.99. Here's the kicker: there is a coupon good for 20% off on one item, which will bring the price down to $55.99.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ $55.99 is exactly what they charged me. It seem to be built well enough to stand up to reasonable use. It cuts really well. I cut a 1"x1"x 1/8" angle iron in a couple of seconds. I cut half-way through a 3/4" steel bar in 5-6 seconds. The cuts were very smooth, and it did not seem to create the dirty outflow that comes from abrasive cut-off saws.

Leo,

Just wait till you need to cut some 3 x 3 x 1/4. It will bog down throw the thermal overlaod several times, and produce a lot more dust than you think :-) New chop blades allways seem to cut fast, wait till it has seem some real steel...
