(clip) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ The way cutting torches are built, the cutting pressure is delivered to the torch, and the preheat oxygen pressure rides "piggyback" on that. It is reduced to a much lower pressure through a separate valve. So, as you keep raising the oxygen pressure, you will have to keep closing down the preheat oxygen to keep a balanced flame, and you will keep getting a stronger cutting action. Past a certain point, you will be wasting oxygen, and getting too large a kerf.
