I have this real fancy neato $400.00 CK Tungsten sharpener that just sits in the box. I just use a medium grit grinding wheel exclusively on a bench grinder. Seems to actually work better than the expensive grinder also. 99% of the folks I know use bench grinders as well.

I use a 2" x 72" belt grinder to clean up really trashed ones, then polish them on a diamond grinder.

belt sander to rough shape.Then finish on the back side of belt to polish.
