I have the most basic robot base, IT has two servos an oopic and four
gp2d12s, I wand to do some cool stuff to it so what should I do. I have
thought about putting a rocket launcher on it as well as blue and green
leds lining the bottom, please give me some suggestions

Re: Pimp my robot

Cold Cathode Lights (as used in case modding) aren't very expensive anymore.
Come complete with their inverter an everything, just hook up 12VDC and
ready. They've got also fans with leds in them, pretty neat in the dark.

Re: Pimp my robot

One of the guys in our club is working on a new line following robot.  It has
oversize chrome wheels with low profile tires.  His linear line sensor needed
more light, so he is adding a section of "light wire" to the bottom of the
robot.

I think it is going to look just like the modded Hondas the local homeboys
drive (except the rims do not keep spinning after the robot stops).  I wonder
if his robot will have to slow down around corners to keep from bottoming out.

Re: Pimp my robot

You should go with a PIC microcontroller instead of the OOpic.

PIC microcontroller are way faster then the OOpic and also have more
memory and way cheaper.
