What is the deal with teh? The si ton oot drah ot epyt. I know I am being picky, so flame me. But I would like to know:
-- Is it a current style, or ignorance. I suspect the former, by the number of posts that use it.
-- Is it a permanent feature, or do people outgrow the need to butcher English?

Quite right. Both. The new puppy is keeping us up half the night, and iI have a really stiff neck from too much keyboard work.
If you type two fingers fast, the 'the' tends to come out as 'teh' becuase the left finger overtakes teh right :-)
