except last week I leart that they are actually called whipped potatoes if they are prepared with a beater. Do you all prefer butter or gravy?

Absolutely the best- and a left-over ( pun intended) from many schoo
lunches in the 60's & 70's- Bologna boats ( fried bologna with mashe potatoes )
