Having problems getting enough torque to turnover engine through hard spot. Using a Sullivan 12v starter with a 12v 6 amp battery charger as source... Is my problem with the starter or the power source...? Need some pretty high torque getting through the tough spot in the engine... As always thanks ahead of time... :-)

A battery charger is not enough current to run that starter, you really need a good storage battery of at least 5 amp hour capacity more would be better, that starter will draw more than 6 amps when starting an engine.
