What do you do when your tyre is in perfect condition but the %#$%#$ plastic hub lost its cheek?

Replace them, they aren't that expensive. If you can't afford a replacement ask around your club, plenty of ARF kits come with dual sets of wheels (one fixed, one for retracts). That's how I replaced mine when I destroyed the hub after heaps of landings.
