Does a genuine version of Autocad 2005 have a hardware dongle?

Depends where you live.
I don't know about the foreign versions, but the American ones do not. It doesn't matter much anymore anyway. Even the American version now use a machine-code generated software activation which only allows the program to run on one machine at one time.
