IICA2005: From Sensors to the Boardroom
When: 25th - 28th July 2005
The Institute of Instrumentation, Control and Automation's inaugural
conference will provide the ultimate platform for Enriching Knowledge,
Gaining Experience, Sharing the Process.
The IICA's inaugural conference will provide all those who use, manage and
specify instrumentation, control and automation systems with lectures, a
display of new equipment and services, and the opportunity to network with
the people developing the latest advances in technology.
Delegates will have a number of opportunities to explore current issues in
ICA via the technical programme and trade exhibition, including site visits
to facilities of particular interest to attendees.
Keynote speakers for the conference include retired NASA astronaut Dr. Story
Musgrave and futurists Mr. Craig Rispin and Dr. Ian Lin, both set to provide
highly motivating and thought provoking sessions. Renowned speakers,
acknowledged specialists in their fields, and international guests will also
be presenting at the conference with a breadth of topics set to provide
enough heated discussions to keep delegates talking for months. Speaker

The exhibitors at the conference will complement the theory dispensed in the
technical sessions with hands-on examples of the technology on display. With
all exhibition space now sold, we have secured a variety of exhibitors to
display the latest in ICA services and products including our Platinum
sponsor ABB. The conference will also provide the setting for ABB to launch
their 800xA Information Management software series - an industrial IT system
that enhances the usefulness of data from all operations.
