BLDC Vs PMSM

Hi, Can anybody explain me the difference in working between a brushless DC motor and Permanent Magnet Synchronous motor?

Thanks.

The term brushless DC usually implies that the inverter in integral to the motor. Permanent Magnet Synchronous usually means that the inverter is external to the motor. The motor itself is identical.
