POSITION SUMMARY

You will be a member of a product development team with the following responsibilities:

=95 Interface with other teams to ensure the product's electrical design is correctly defined, specified and verified =95 Assist in the development of electrical detailed design and assist in the development of product electrical specifications, schematics and layout =95 Development of design verification specifications, perform the verification and write test reports =95 Troubleshoot prototype and product failures and performance limitations and helping drive them to resolution =95 Work closely with key software teams including OS, DSP Software and Application Development =95 Work closely with the factory test engineering group to ensure an efficient and high quality product manufacturing process =95 The person will be required to be a team player, well organized, logical, have excellent communication skills and be determined to succeed, with the ability to work on their own initiative and have the aptitude to expand the knowledge base in all aspects of handheld design Qualifications

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS =95 Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent =95 3+ years relevant industry work experience, ideally in the development of home and desktop devices =95 Familiar with ARM microcontroller based circuits and peripheral software design =95 Experience with wired and wireless network hardware and systems =95 Hardware and software product bring up and debugging skills =95 Schematic capture design experience along with strong knowledge of PCB layout techniques =95 Ability to quickly adapt to new situations and constraints =95 Demonstrated ability to take initiative and responsibility in a team environment, able to take charge of a situation and see it through to resolution. =95 Strong interpersonal and communication skills: a real team player =95 A desire to work in a fast paced, innovative environment
