*** Spark marks found around the rings, except the carbon brush contact area.

** Insulation of secondary cables in the slip ring assembly compartment for every phases are melted, whereas the same cables out in the terminal box are observed to be in perfect condition. The cables could stand up to 130DegC.
*** Fault happened during starting.
