I'm as-builting a 20 year old building and came across what I believe is a transformer with the number Sylvania A160651. Placard says it's 120/208V,

3Ph, 4W, 1600A.Can anyone verify what this device is? I checked Sylvania.com and also google'd for it and came up with nothing.

Is there any other info on the nameplate? How big is it? Can you open it up and look inside (as long as no power is attached)?

| No. 24" x 36" x about 34" tall. No. I suspect it's either a power | conditioner or transformer but I googled for it and came up blank. Also a | search at sylvania.com came up blank.

That's a rather small box for 1600 amps. I'm curious what's inside.
