This substantial creation captures the look and feel of Hyrule Castle Town and Hyrule Castle, functioning as a massive diorama. When assembled, the model showcases detailed interior scenes through its open-top structures and removable upper sections. The construction itself is impressive, utilizing a mix of standard bricks, plates, foliage elements, miniature chains, and trans-clear pieces, resulting in a piece containing between 200,000 and 300,000 components. The scale is evident in the detailed custom minifigures, which include Link, Princess Zelda, townspeople, and armored castle guards.

Several features stand out in the complex build. The Temple of Time incorporates a striking black-and-white checkered floor, and the ornate throne room displays a Triforce emblem. Furthermore, the maker included a hidden chamber holding a chained Majora's Mask. The assembly process involved considerable effort, particularly constructing Kakariko, which required managing tricky angles and positioning it at a higher elevation. The model also features a lovely mini Hyrule field setup in the background.

It is clear the maker dedicated significant time to this project, including incorporating parts from other themes, primarily A Link to the Past. While the entire model is modular and can be taken apart in the basement, one aspect remains an open question. The maker did not provide a definitive answer regarding future projects that might include themes like Zora or Gerudo.

I wonder about the Kakariko section. Given that it had tricky angles and was placed on a higher elevation, what specific techniques did the maker use to achieve the stability of that structure?

The decision by the maker to construct the model with removable upper sections seems quite clever. This feature allows for full visibility into the detailed interior scenes without compromising the overall structural integrity of the massive diorama.

I suggest adding more specific environmental elements around the mini Hyrule field setup. Since the maker noted this feature as a nice touch, enhancing the foliage and landscape surrounding it would further elevate the immersion of the entire piece.

The maker has not provided a definitive answer regarding the construction techniques used for the tricky angles of the Kakariko section.
