storing lego...

hi...

which way do you store your bricks? i'm looking for some taller boxes, with a nice cap, so that the bricks can't get dusty... but the problem seems to be the size of such boxes... found some smaller who are ideal for the small parts, but none that can be used to sort large amounts of bricks by color...

also it should be delivired to germany...

geez not asking for much

ya want small boxes to hold large quanitys of lego pieces

i would suggest you do not sort by color i personally have my own method

big denim bag of non bricks (ramps, minifigs and accs no technic) box of plates box of 2x4s box of 2x3 box of 2x2 box of 2x8 and 2x6 bag of 1x1 box with bags of 1x2,1x3 box of bags of 1x4,1x6,1x8 box of technic (basically any gears and pieces with the hole for technic box of kits in bags (assembled and partially assembled with manuals)

sorting by color makes it hard to find the piece you want i was in a lego contest and they sorted pieces by color and i searched nearly a whole box just to find a white 2x4 plate and i think i found the only one and it was stuck to a 2x8
