sorry for the off-topic post. it was mainly meant for the motorcycle groups.

You ride?
Yea, been riding for 39+ years. started at age 12.
That's pretty cool. I started at about 16 on friends' dirt bikes. Didn't get my own bike till I was 25 (crotch rocket) and I'm between bikes right now.
crotch rockets are the best. I just got back from lunch on mine and it looks like we have a few inches of rain comming and high winds. fun.
lol I think my next will be a CBR600RR... Have a friend who just got an Aprillia.

If ya still like bikes ? ya should get ya another. Motorcycling has developed into a fantastic sport where ya meet great folks from all walks of life with a common like. I started out in 1965 when my mom bought me a honda 90 scrambler. I did,'t even have a license. (can ya tell I was spoiled as a child?) Have owned just about every major brand bike there is. Honda, Kaws, BSA, Triumph, Norton,Yamaha and for the last 25 years, Harleys. Have a 95" FLHS Harley stroker at present.

nothing at all wrong with crotch rockets. (different strokes, ya know) personally I like crusers. (probably comes with older age) :-) the main thing is to ride !!!
Man you get around... lol
I'll get another... looking at one right now; that's why I said I was "between" bikes right now.. Hehe.
Thought about a cruiser, but I just don't feel ready to make that transition quite yet. Did you go to the meet down in Corpus Christi?

make that transition
No I haven't made that one. My brother makes it every year though. I used to go to a lot of the big meets but these days I still go to places like the Black Hills but do it a couple of weeks before or after an event. the major events have become so crowded and money motivated.
Yeah, I noticed. Had a meet in Poteet not too long ago, but I was seeing lots of bikes in other towns during the event. Big group in Bandera which is kind of close, yet still quite a distance away.
Last BIG meet I went to was in Austin and I'll never do that again... Austin is a very compact town. Lots of people, homes, and businesses packed in a relatively small area. Didn't work out very well... Had lots of fun at the downtown Hooters though!

This has about as much to do with locksmithing as all the linux crossposts. No flame but you don't like it when other people post O/T.
linux crossposts. No
you should have seen my follow-up explanation before jumping to conclusions.
I saw it. Albeit after I posted. I don't really care so much that you posted it but the point is that you do sometimes post O/T so you could perhaps be a little more tolerant of some of the other posts that are maybe not 100% on topic, but are interesting none the less or that sell a product or service related to locksmithing.

I am "tolerant of some" from the regulars around here. as its done on most groups I have frequented. its the ones that come here for no reason but to post their spam or to purposely troll that usually here the feedback.
