bad question... whatever is in YOUR AREA..

I eat Ford and GM keys... 'might do' 3-4 Chrysler a YEAR.. FOREIGN? did 2 this year.. maybe 3..

30 miles away, the friend NEVER sees a Ford..yet there is a Ford dealer in his town.. it just depends on your particular area.. what car dealers do you have 'close'.. or what do you mostly see going down the road?

A serious national survey, town-by-town, might be Really Interesting... and a heck of a lot of work. I'm not volunteering.

Suggestion: Ask your local distributor? They'll know how many of which they have to reorder, and *may* have some sense of where they're going.

The most common bkank I use for auto openings is JET B15-NS (GM 6-Cut Universal)

As far as dup and code-cut, GM (6 and 10-cut)the most followed by Ford(10-cut and a few 8-cut), Chrysler and Imports.

Custumarily, in newsgroups, when one asks such a broad question, it is common courtesy for him/her to collate the resulting responses and post it back once all the folks have responded. Just a thought.

The most common blanks are the ones that fit the cars in your area. If you are in LA where older cars are common, your common keys would include cars from the 60's but if you live somewhere with snow and salt 20 year old cars are rare.

While a default stocking list might be helpful, there are strong regional differences in the US. I'm in Detroit and domestic vehicles still are way more popular than in imports. From my experience in California, that is hardly true there.
