Wave Picks & Split Wafers

I am concerned about using LT 620 or similiar Wave Picks on Split Wafers. Are they safe to use or will they separate the splits, in other words will the picks lift both sides of the split wafer at once? thanks

It's the fastest way to screw up Toyota locks that use the TR47 blank. Dont do it.
