A while ago I wrote this equation solving program that I thought would come in handy for various engineering tasks where a set of equations needs to be solved. I never bothered promoting it, but now I'm curious whether it might become more popular if I get the word out.

There must be some method of authentication of the accuracy of the results to be accepted by many companies. I say that from personal experience. They would accept specific software for *record* calculations.

Yes, I can see that companies would like to see that. It would be handy to have a feature that shows how well the entered constraints are satisfied (i.e. a residual). Also, more documentation on how the equation solving process takes place would likely increase confidence in the results.
