Not what you asked for - but an interesting topic. Off the top, the following IC ignition methods come to mind.
Flame tube low voltage breaker in cylinder Magneto generator/breaker to spark plug trembler coil to spark plug flywheel magneto/ breaker to spark plug. ignition coil / capacitor /breaker to spark plug Capacitor discharge/coil to spark plug mechanical drive Piezo generator to spark plug Solid state pulser to coil per cylinder to spark plug. (As above but wired to two cylinders)
