Tube Length help

Guys,

its been a while since I have had to do these calcs and was hoping someone might be able to assist me jump start the process.

I am calculating tubing length needed to heat up from ambient to 400C in a, for example, vertical furnace, the following two streams: 1 to 50 SLPM of pure methane, 1-50 SLPM of stream containing: 1-3% H2, 3.3-6% H2O, 0.4-1% CO,

1.7-3.4% CO2, balance CH4

I am trying to develop a template such that one can just enter the concentrations and desired temp and end up with length of tubing needed.

Any recommendations on where to start?

Taz
