Any of you all use these? Instead of having to slide them in from end you can just drop them directly into the t-slot anywhere. Give them a
1/4 turn and they won't lift out. I decided with (eventually) more machines coming online of back online I needed a bunch more t-nuts. I ordered 20 regular t-nuts pretty cheap from MSC, but for less than a dollar more I decided to buy 10 of the 1/4 turn style to try them out.

With such a small holding area I can't see using them to lock down a vise or a fixture with any heavy grunt, but I could see them being really handy to drop a work stop on the table or add a machinist jack fairly quickly.FYI: I tend towards two vises on each table and 1 or 2 work stops which means I need 4-6 t-nuts for very machine, and that doesn't count temporary setups like add an angle plate and a stop block for off the edge machining like this:

...... which reminds me. With the 3 t-nuts that were on that setup, if I can find them, I should have enough for the setup I am building now.
Of course when you toss a handful of hardware on the bench to put it away later not everything always makes it back in the drawer later, so I always buy extras. LOL.
