Any suggestions on a property issue?

First off, stop freaking out. The worst they can do is fine you,

I am not sure how the procedure is in your neck of the woods, but once they write you a citation, you get a court date.

Do what you can, if anything requires a permit put in an application right now. You have to make some real progress. Call a scrapper and sell by the pound.

When the court date comes have plenty of evidence that shows real progress, and ask for an extension. But take two warnings. Do not try to bullshit them, everyone tries and they expect it. They are more receptive to a straight answer. And realize that they will make you do it eventually. The fines keep adding up until the liens on your property is more than it is worth.

Oh, and clean up your neighbors lot first. Permission or not, your junk has put him in a trick bag.

The California Department of Veterans Affairs might, or might not, have a suggestion:

Looks like they gotcha over a barrel unless you move that container overnight. Did they serve you with any paperwork? Here in nevada they have to serve you with an official notice stating the ordenance number you violated in wrighting stating you have xx days to clean up the property. If you don't comply the cleaning crew shows up and does its thing, then they put a lein on the property to make shure they collect with interest.

Best Regards Tom.

The ones I took of your shithole a couple of years ago on an earlier drive-by.

LOL That's a GREAT idea, because the reporter will never report that trash dumper Gunner hasn't been paying his taxes for decades.

Gunner, if you do not know the law and cannot afford lawyers, you cannot fight this. I suggest to comply. I would move what I can to my property, and call in scrappers and get as much scrap value as possible in exchange for speedy removal.

Scrappers, like vultures, like those forced divestiture situations.

Pretty good advice. That's why gummer won't follow it.

How do you think gummer came by all this s*it in the first place?

He probably exchanged favors with friends.

Weird things happen in forced divestitures. I heard about one company gifting all its equipment to someone for free.

I got paperwork 2 weeks ago. I called her supervisor this afternoon and left a message, and called and left a message on HER phone that I needed 30 days but it would get done.

Best I can do.

Gunner

There are no scrappers around here who pay. Only can collectors.

Are you going to forge a DD214? That's a crime, you know.

Gunner:

You could try a modification of this technique.

gummer could try eating s*it and barking at the moon, too - it would work about as well, and he has lots of practice at it.
