Boeing > Boing?

I'm looking for that humerous story someone once posted where some arrogant guy always say "I before E except before C" then his company when "boi(e)ng".. well who said that, and why can't I find it on Google? Hmm...

He should have easily found that via Google.

------------------------------------------------------- "i" before "e", except after "c", what a weird society. ----

I thought it was, "I before E except as in Budweiser..." (?)

I guy I met at Boeing 25 years ago, who is still there, taught me how to remember how to spell Boeing:

He said, 'They put the zero in "being"".

There are a lot of "zeros" at Boeing. That corporate climate is ripe for their breeding. "This isn't your father's Boeing."

Even when I was at Boeing 25 years ago, I could see that it was an elephant being probed by blind men. I designed a swithching power supply for the 767, thereby building up my resume, and left. Others had very different experinces.
