Not exactly metalworking, but I think most here would enjoy this book if you can locate a copy.
Me and the Model T by Roscoe Sheller ISBN: 0-8323-0410-7 Third printing: 1988
This is a sort of autobiography of a fellow in Sunnyside, Washington that through a series of events found himself a Ford dealer, as the Model T first hit the market. Much humor, and a most excellent look at how the automobile was first viewed, and finally accepted by, the general public. Trials and tribulations of learning how to drive, teach others to drive, and build an auto dealership when there was nothing upon which to model such a venture.
Found it at a yard sale. Probably out of print and may be hard to find. But worth it if you have an interest in our industrial heritage.
