Gtandson picked up a boat prop that is covered with crud. Any solution he can soak it in to restore bright finish? Thanks Walt

If it's truly brass, tell him to soak it for a few days to a week in the cheapest ketchup he can buy in quantity.
The stuff in the big cans works nicely.
