Caulk or sealant

Does anyone know of a caulk or sealant that will adhere to stainless steel, such as that in a dishwasher?

Thanks, CP

If you're willing to slightly rough up the surface, most any silicone caulk will stick.

However, I'm really partial to Lexel clear polyacrylate sealant. It darned near will stick to a pat of butter, and is very strong and flexible when dry. It will even adhere pretty strongly to sanded PTFE.

It is solvent-based, so it will shrink some with drying, but not more than about 30%.

Everything Lloyd said plus it's good for repairing loose shoe soles .
