Dear r.c.m-
I bought a 30"x4"x2" aluminum ingot for use in metal casting. Of course it needs to be smaller to fit in the crucible, and I was silly enough to think I would just cut it up with a hand hacksaw. It can be done... but it takes quite a while. I don't have a power hacksaw or metal cutting bandsaw, but I do have a circular saw.
Does anybody have any recommendations for a cutoff wheel that won't load up with Al, or for that matter any other bright ideas to save my arm muscles?
Thanks,
Deadsy.
