Effect of "I do not call 911" stickers?

The way I heard it- An old guy was tired of having his hunting cabin broken into. He put up a sign:

Set guns are illegal So is trespassing I've made my choice Now you make yours

Good.

Excellent.

Ayup. My actual alarm company signs and window decals didn't prevent drunken idiots from trying entry several times.

Nice. You didn't bother to ask if he's an inside dog, which he is. I lived with the same neighbors on either side of the house for 14 years and two dogs and they've never complained.

Sorry, but you didn't specify, and most people who buy animals allow them to bark outside or through open windows, so...

Every single dog owner I've talked with about their barking dogs has said "My dog doesn't bark." (or bark much) And most neighbors are willing to put up with a dog for awhile. If you're one of the 0.016% of dog owners who've actually had their dogs trained not to bark at nothing, I congratulate you and apologize for my remark.

Yeah! It's a shame that more people don't ask "Who is Henry Bowman?" instead of "Who is John Galt?", eh?

Maybe, if someone sent copies of the book to 525 individuals back east, our nation's future would change for the better. Y'know, like changing back to actually -having- a future. I sure don't like any of the current trends.
