local prices to sharpen end mills

Wondering what the going rate is to sharpen end mills. At this time in my life I would love to have the time to get set up to do this myself, but time is tighter than money right now. The local shop is charging: For example 1/2" HSS End mill $7.00, $14 for carbide Another example 1" HHS end mill $16, $32 for carbide Is that in the ballpark to what you folks have seen?

Sheeiit....

From my local supplier, new end mills:

1/2" single end, 1/2" shank, 4-fl non c-c, HSS: $4.60; cobalt, $8.85; USA: $12.05; carbide: $17.00 (usa; proly cheaper avail). Tears come to my eyes when I break carbide...

If you've got really expensive niagra cutters et al, you'd have to be careful about just how well they're sharpened--otherwise, you'd be better off w/ cheap imports.

Got a card in the mail from these folks:

can't speak to the quality of their work as I've had none to send to them.
